The county commissioners at. their meeting yesterday took u(Kibe ma.icr of bettor bridges in the county, and this very important subject was dis missed at length hy the hoard. However, no definite ac,..nn was taken, and Inn commissioners ad jnurned lo meet again today, when the rpiehtion will lit- taken tip and dispos ed of. it is the intention of Ihe commit; sinners to have erected over the county several concrete bridges, and one of them wil be erected shortly at Camp Warker, some ii-m miles into the city. The contract for the erection of this bridge will probably he let to day. This a step in the right direction, and t'ne people generally-will commend the commissioners for their action, it ts a well known fact that better bridges are needed over Hie county The bridges the county will have htiill will be of concrete and will I"’ very substantial in every way.
