Tnornton, Austin ami Bradley that the meeting spoken of in Sunday's News ue held this evening, Wednesday, December 17th, at 8 p. m., in St. Jude’s school house on J street. Efforts were made to seem more room from the Downing Company, who have tire lease, but the company could not give iil> very much of tfieir dock room, and it was decided to establish another city dock at the foot of Albemarle street. The amount appropriated by council for the improvement of the place is $ 1,000, which will be sufficient to make the place suitable for the pur pose for which it is to be used. Notce Taxpayers.
