LONG TIME. *
To Get Over Hurt of Coffee.
It sometimes takes a long period to
get over the effects of coffee drinking.
A little woman in Wane-Loro, N. C,
says: "I was a coffee drinker and suf
ferer from dyspepsia, stomach trouble,
nervousness and the train of disorders
that toliow.
"On the advice of an eminent physi
cian I cut oft my coffee allowance to 1
one cup a day at breakfast. That hel
ped me a little but I gradually got
wd: -c and finally became- ill. badly run
down, and so depressed in mind that
1 did not care how the scales turned
“At thic time I was induced to leave
off coffee altogether and take Postum
l-'ood Coffee. That was in Septem
ber-. I had also a dish of Grape-Nuts
for breakfast. I practically lived on
Postffrni Food Coffee and Grape-Nuts
for ome time. In November 1 had
made considerable improvement and
knew that I was at last on the road
to- good health. At Christmas time I
felt well enough to go through that
glorious l'eai-.t with comfort and happi
ness. in January 1 was much impro
ved over the previous month and had
gained very considerable in how
many pounds I don’t know . My
HUcnglh a .id color was much improved
My appetite and digestion in every
ygvav good. 1 ate what I pleased and
with much enjoyment.
“About that time a Clergman friend
visited us and on Sunday morning
when he was going to preach ! had a
strong cup or Coffee made for him tie
cause he was in a run down, nervous
condition and said lie needed the stim
siiiiiulant. Well thai was a sad day
tor me 1 though! I was well enough
to drink a cup of coffee with him and
did o. It was strong but did not
taste right. I was interested in bis
conversation and found that I was
lidding from time to lime more cream
and sugar for some way 1 realized
ihe beverage did not tasle as it should
then 1 remembered that it was coffee
and not Postum. 1 like Postum better
than I do coffee.
"Thai day the old system of stom
ach trouble came on and while it.
o'-tits almost impossible, it is never
ii true that ! never-got back to
:v of ho-tlo. again for about two
~i --!is. The coffee acted as an ac

Postum and now that t am tyeil and
happy and contented you could not
got me to take a cup of coffee, no,
