It was decid ed by the committee to give a' moon light excursion next month for the beiieflt of the library. ... The baby show to occur in the park tomorrow afternoon will be very in teresting. All children three years ami under may be entered. There will be two prizes. Tlie many friends of the family will lie glad to learn that Mrs. B. Hirsch, who has been quite ill is a great deal better. The moonlight excursion to he given tonight promises to be a very enjoy able one. There will be good music, dancing, surf bathing and delicious refreshments, sandwiches, and Mar lin's ice cream will he served. Fruit, lemonade with cherries will also be served. If the weather is good a large crowd will probably go over. .* * * Mrs. C. T. Cainan entertained with a pleasant flinch party Monday eve ning. A number of interesting games were played. IJrown, Findley C. Bunkley. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Banks entertain ed with a delightful card party last evening in honor of Miss Susie Lamar. The rooms were prettilly decorated lie color note being ye,low, winch was charmingly carried iu the score cards and decorations, The piazza was hung w ith American flags and Jap anese lanterns. The affair was a, fresco, the tables having been placed on the piazzas. Five hand euchre was played.
