And tlio Servian newspapers thought the assassinations perfectly right. It Is hotter to he a pauper in this country than king (In Bor via. The former does live. When they get tired of a king they just got to work killing out the en tire family in Servia. Governor Terrell should charter a special and take Ills numerous colo nels to Oriffln. That postofflee muddle is going to cause the admlnltration more trouble than it bargained for. The News will go to over half the homes in three counties tomorrow. You ad. should be In It. The fart that a person cannot get a piece of Georgia beef here does not spealt well for our section. The last chance lo get your business before ten thousand people. Get the ad. ready for the Sunday News. The meeting of the Hoard of Trade Thursday was encouraging because it . -II attended. We hope this will be the ease. I’l.c northern people love the negro but the greater the distance between them the more they love Ihe down trodden coloreed brother. Of course i- is hard to tell right at this time but il looks to us like the next gubernatorial race in Flor ida is going to be a warm one. Houston Chronicle prints the fol lowing quotations on presidential slock: ‘‘Roosevelt stock is booming but it is suspected to be watered. Mark Hannas is quoted at par. There is uu Bryan preferred stock; it has ali been destroyed; Bryan common is a drug on the market; see the Com moner. Cleveland gilt edge securi ties fairly steady, but subject to fre quent attacks. Barker preferred is rated as common. Gorman gold bonds are offered above par; no takers, llill securities uo longer listed on the political exchange.” One negro was killed, two other ne groes were seriously wounded and two white boys badly hurt in a riot recently. Some negroes opened a crap game at a baseball match and refused to close it when ordered to do so by the police. A fght followed in which the crowd took a part, and many shots were fired. One of the negro gamblers was shot dead and another pounded with baseball bats and stones that he is almost dead. He would have been hanged to a tree only for the iutevemion of some by standers. Ail this did not occur iu the south but in West Liberty, a suburb of Pittsburg, i’eun. STEEL PLANT FAILURE. The Jacksonville Metropolis says: “It was only a few weeks ago that In securing a $10,000,000 steel plant of mammoth propositions, was the talk of the country, and the town was warmly congratulated on its acquire ! mf-nt.” "Recently, however, there has de veloped many changes in corporation affairs at the Georgia town. The sale and change of officers of the Bruns wick nnd Birmingham railroad; the bankruptcy of Ex-Senat-or Mcl.aurin, of South. Carolina one of the stock holders of the enterprises, and more recently an order ir on the Cromwell Garrett Engineering company order ing their workmen to suspend further work and to return to Cleveland as the Mohawk company had failod to pay their second installment past duo are some of the discouraging events. “J.'or the past mouth this engineer ing company lias had a forc e of hands at woik on the plant, and most of the engineering work lias been completed. Besides this company the Mohawk people have also had a large force ol hands engaged in clearing up the site and doing other work. "It is to he regretted that if in these changes Brunswick is to suffer, as every southern city is much in need of industries and it was thought that the Mohawk company was to ho the host in points of business and capital to come south within a decade, and it Is to he hoped that something may yet come and continue the work so auspiciously begun until Its comple tlon Is accomplnshed. ’ THE SUNDAY NEWS. As usual, the Sunday News will he Interesting for readers and a boon for! I 1 e The merchant who lias no space In this paper Is missing a chance which he will regret. Remember we guarantee that this edition will be read by TEN AND people. It' you aro a merchant who wants to do business, one thing is certain,) you must get into the Sunday News with an advertisement and the larger that ad Is Ihe better the result will he. IT PAYS. Any kind of newspaper advertising pays more or less, and Hint is the reason why It Is right easy sometimes for people to get testimonials on tho subject. But the reading public ev ery day are getting more in the habit of looking to the newspapers for the best Imslncs people, the greatest in ducements for buying, and the result lis that the advertising possibilities are constantly Increasing. Take tho [business that the News is doing today in the way of advertising and it is small compared with the possibilities of the future, but it is very large compared with what we were doing a few years ago. 11 is because the reader Is learning that his interest lies In reading and answering Ihe ad vertisements. We question whether the average newspaper can boast anything like as many satisfied ndver Users the News lias. You ought lo advertise your busi ness all tho time because it pays, but you ought to always have an ad. in the Sunday News. BKOBBTON. KJBNgiJG &CO I Letters from Women Cured by the use of Kodol are received daily. Tbeir troubles nearly ail begin with indiges tion or other stomach di >order. If the food youeis.t falls to give strength to your body, It is because the Juices se creted by the stomach and digestive organs are inadequate to transform the nutrient prop erties of the food into blood. That is indigestion. The system Is deprived of the amount of nourishment required to keep up the strength, and the result is that one or more of the delicate organs gradually grows weak, and then weaker, until finally it is diseased. Here a great mistake is made. That of treating the diseased organ. The best doctors in the land make this very mistake. Why should they ? It is so easy to see that the trouble is not there. Kodol Cures This famous remedy puts the stomach and digestive organs in a hea.thy condition so that rich, red blood 1; sent coursing through the veins and arteries cf every muscle, tissue and fiber throughout every organ of the en tire body, and by Nature’s law of health, full strength and vigor is soon restored to each, j Kodol cures indigestion, dyspepsia and all j stomach disorders. I have taken Kodol for nearly two months j after each meal and it Is the only remedy ; that gave relief from the terrible pains i endured. After a timo I would take it but once a day. and now, while I keep a bottle j handy 1 seldom need it, as it has cured me. Mrs. J. W. Coolbaugh, Milo Center, N. Y. Kodol Digests What You Eat.
