MISSES SYMMES ENTERTAIN
IN HONOR OF GUEST
i Misses Bessie and Fannie Symmes
were the charming hostesses at a
charming card party last evening in
honor of their lovely guest, Miss Lilly,
|of Vienna, Ga.
The rooms and hall were artistically
1 decorated for the occasion, the color
scheme, pink and, green, being charm
ingly carried out in pink oleander
ilowers and green vines. The pretty
score cards were bandpainted and
each was also adorned with one olean
der blossom (ied on with green ribbon.
The young hostesses we.ee gowned in
lovely chiffon dresses, one in pink
and one in green. Miss Lilly wore
a becoming gown of pink chiffon.
The prizes were very handsome. Tho
ladies’ first, a cut glass bonbon dish,
was won by Mrs. Monroe Fleming.
The consolation, a beautiful fan, hand
painted by Miss Bessie Symmes, was
won by Miss Calla Lilly.
The gentlemen’s first prize was a
silver value tag and was won by
Albert Banks. Tlie consolation, a
silver hat mark, was won by Hunter
Hopkins. Tlie booby prize full :to
John Pace.
