OUR SCHOOL TEACHERS. The recent election of teachers for the city schools for the coming year has put into the schools one of the most thoroughly competent corps of teachers in the state and the present outlook is that the coming year will prove one of the most successful in the educational endeavors of our city. Since the knowledge has been de duced that education 1s a science and should lie dealt wi!h as such, it lias miic the desire and ultimate aim of every true educator’s work to see and Insist that the art of training, the uiosl important factor of all human life, the human mind, should be in the hands of workmen no less skil- led at least Ilian those nrtisans one would choose In the construction of anew and handsome house. While there still remains some sem blance of reality in the old saying that teachers are born teachers or the reverse, there is now, through the medium of the Jrminjlless eitcolllont normal schools scattered through our county an opportunity for ev oryono who feels teaching to ell Ills or her vocation to become a teacher of ability as to scol orshlp and methods, whether they possess flie sixth sense od not. The reasonable terms of those in stitutions, nearly all of them being state schools, renders within the means of any one an opportunity to fit himself for this most import ,inl position. Formerly the schools were consid ered the rlgtli'tful prey of all aspiring young persons who, not eompetant to succeed in other professions were chcorfully assigned to the task of in structing the young and fitting them mi i lysi ally, menially and morally for their battle ’.villi the world re gardless of the fart that their teach er Mfefbcr knew nor had the power vt pNiftliiuj’ fhem (the fundamenjal principals of how to meet and deal with its exergeneies. But tills state of affairs is a thing of tin* past now In all institutions where the object of its trustees is vo promote the educational welfare of the school and where formerly the k.ywO’im of forciblyoUlUi. -tilo thn^ It's into unwilling minds by means oi a generous course in sprouts prevailed there is now more attention given to the Study of the throe M’s, mutci, matter and method. Letters from Women Cured by the use of Kodol aro received daily. Their troubles nearly all begin v/ith indiges tion or other stomacn disorder. If the food you eat fails to give strength to your body, it is because the juices se creted by the stomach and digestive organ; are inadequate to transform the nutrient prop erties of the food into blood. That is Indigestion. Tha system Is deprived of the amount of nourishment required to keep up the strength, and the result is that one or more of tne delicate organs gradually grows weak, and then weaker, until finally it is diseased. Here a great mistake is made. That of treating the diseased organ. The best doctors in the land make this very mistake. Why should they? it is so easy to see that the trouble is not there. Kodol Cures This famous remedy puts the stomach and digestive organs in a healthy condition so that rich, red blood Is sent coursing through the veins and arteries of every muscle, tissue and fiber throughout every organ of the en tire body, and by Nature’s law of heaith, full strength and vigor is soon restored to each. Kodol cures Indigestion, dyspepsia and ali stomach disorders. I have taken Kodol for nearly two months alter each meal and it is the only remedy that gave relief from the terrible pains I endured. After a time I would take it but once a day. and now. while I keep a bottle handy 1 seldom need it, an it has cured me. Mrs. J. W. Cooi. bauch, Milo Center. N. Y. Kodol Digests What You Eat.
