The people of the city of Brunswick
are hoping that Hon. Henry ti. Turner

THE INEQUALITY OF JUSTICE.
We are pleased to note that Ihe
English officials have returned judg
ment adverse to Messrs. Green and
Gaynor, the arch conspirators in the
famous Carter case.
These men are the boldest thieves
that we have ever had lie: misfortune
to come in contact. They who received
the lion’s share of the ill gotten gains
for which poor Carter Is now languish
ing in a Federal prison, liied them
selves to Canada and tor the lasi six
months have been living on the very
best in the land. In fact, they have
been doing the social act In the Can
adlant capital, have been living the
lives of exclusive club men and have
lived in easy sufficiency on their steal
age.
As we say we are pi. ad liuii
the court of his Majesty in London has
seen fit to restore them- thieves to the
United States and we are uiiluli mg
the hope that they will receive al Ihe
hands of tins country that punishment,
so commensurate with the brazen
criminality and open farted audacity oi
genteel rogues.
However, this si'.ual io:. is one ot tin.
best evidences of the natural In
equality of justice that obtans all
over the world.
Carter, the once proud captain ol
engineers, the petted lion of Savuu

prions bars in Kansas.
And Green and Gaynor - wlml of

They who acted as chief adviser to
the misdeeds of Captain Carter. Aye,
what of them?
With the affiiiciiee, gained by ways
that are dark anil tricks Umt are vain,
they have succeeded in evading the
law even yet are scot free.
We trust, that they will lie brought
to justice and we hope that the court;
will see to it that they 100 are noub
