THE SAD CASE OF
CLEMENTINE ISABEL.
Have you heard of Clementine Isabel
Grange?
Her ways and her works are remark
ably strange
She can walk with a friend two miles,
maybe three,
And return from the trip as blytiie as
a bee:
But if mother says "dishes,” woe and
alack!
So sore are tier feet and so weary her
hack.
This Clementine Isabel, agile and
fleet,
Plays tennis all day without thought
of the heat;
At ping-pong she’ll stand (now isn’t it
queer?)
For hours, no word of complaint you
will hear;
She can wheel with the best, play golf
with a will,
But a wash-board, oh dear! the sight
brings a chill.
The dumb-bells and clubs she can
wield by the hour,
“Developing muscle” and giving her
“power;”
But if mother says “broom,” now,
what do you tliinkj
The poor girl is so t ired she’s ready to
sink.
Yes, she who cati fence, and can bowl,
row aud run,
Is frail as a feat tier when work’s to bo
done.

A NEW ROUTE.
The Road to Wellville.
It is by change of diet that one can
get fairly on the road to health after
years of sickness, for most ill health
comes from improper feeding.
What a boon it is to shake off coffee
.sickness and nervous headaches as
some can if determined upon.
One woman accomplished it in this
way; "A few years ago I suffered
terribly from sick and nervous head
aches flreqvtienily confined to
my bed two or three days at a time
the attacks coming on from one to four
times in every month. I tried medi
cines of all kinds but could get no
relief until my parents finally per
suaded me to quit the use if coffee
altogether and try Postum Food cof
fee. It had come to a point where I
was so utterly misorallde that I was
willing to make apy reasonable trial.
A person couldn’t believe what fol
lowed but the results speak for them
selves; that was two and a half years
ago and I have never tasted coffee
slince. I use Postum not only for its
delicious flavor but more for the good
It has done me. All my troubles disap
lteared as if by magic and I have for
the past year been doing all the work
for my family of six. I seveldom have
even a slight headache, and I would
not give up Postum and go back to
coffee now unless I deliberate intend
ed to commit suicide.
“All my neighbors it seems to me
now use Postum in place of coffee and
some of them have been doting so
for several years with splendid results
from the health! point of View.” Name
given by Postum Cos., Battle Creek,
Mich.
Look to eadh package for a copy of
the famous little book, “The Road to
Wellville.”
