MH. PARKER’S EXPERIENCE
WITH A NEWS ADVERTISEMENT
"You will have to take that ad.
out or I will have to buy another
horse and wagon,” said Mr. C. L. Par
ker, the popular grocer to a repre
sentative of the News yesterday.
Continuing Mr. Parker said: "Your
paper is certainly read in all parts
of the city and my advertisement has
certainly proven to be a good invest
ment for me and my business has in
creased at a wonderful rate since the
ad. appeared and I am getting new
customers rapidly.”
The reason is plain.
Tlie News Is read by the buying
public and when they go to Mr. Par
ker they find everything just as rep.
resented and prices low as they pos
slbly can be. In other words they
are satisfied after giving him
one order that he will make their deal
ings with him satisfactory in every
sense of the wora.
Mr. Parker will probably buy an
other horse and delivery wagon as ne

Hearts
Are due to indigestion. Ninety-nine
of everyone hundred people who have
heart trouble can remember when it
was simple indigestion. It is a scien
tific fact that all cases of heart dis
ease, not organic, are not only trace
able to, but are the direct result of
Indigestion. All food taken into the
stomach which fails of perfect diges
tion ferments and swells the stomach,
puffing it up against the heart. This
interferes with the action of the heart,
and in the course of time that delicate
but vital organ becomes diseased.

Water Before Steal*.
While the general opinion of those

water at meals is a deleterious one, it
Is now stated, according to recent in

too cold, is beneficial, as it assists in
the digestion of food. A too copious
supply of water dilutes the gastric
