Things in police circles continue very dull. Union street is badly in need of some attention. Travel to the city is now Increasing at a rapid rate. The city dock is now one of the busiest places in the city. Chief Burney Is determised to en force the bicycle ordinance. Aldormas Dart has bad some pretty improvements done on bin home. Dr. C. H. Meldrim, of St. Simon, .spent yesterday in the city. A large number of Brunswickians will visit the Atlanta fair next week. The work on Mansfield street is now about Slashed and it is in excellent shape. There will probably be no more excursion to or from the city this year. Putnam Iloaglaml has returned io bis home i:: Jacksonville, after a short v isit to this city. Robert Cltibb, one of our most en terprising farmers, brought some canc to the city yesterday and it is the lest yet seen here. Work on the building formerly oc copied by McClure is progroscing rap idly and it will be ready for occupancy again in a short time. W. T. Adkins leaves this morning for liis old home in Vienna, where he will reside in future. Mr. Adkins lias made many friends during his resi dence hero, who regret that he is to leave.
