With a oast that far excels any
thing heretofore seen in it, will be
the attraction at the Grand next Mon
day night. This play is now in its
third prosperous year, and comes to
us rounded out and perfected by re
peated presentation.
The action of the play in laid in Nor
way and in England and is a most re
freshing dramatic novelty, being en
tirely different from any other attract
ion ever produced upon any stage.
The snow storm is a very realistic
scene and the death of the Viking on
board of the burning ship will bring
tears to every one’s eyes.
A cast thoroughly in keeping with
the demands of a truly great suc
cess has been secured this year, atul
everything done to make the advent
of this play in our midst a notable
amusement occasion.
The south has contributed gener
ously to the drama with its historical
ly gifted daughters. Miss Elizabeth
Kennedy a former Atlantian won com
plete admiration and affection by her
splendid portrayal of the role of Mad
ame Trentoni in "Captain Jinks of tire
Horse Marines." Now we are to see
her garbed in doublet and hose. For
it is announced that she will appear
here soon as Poßalind iu a magnificent
revival of “As You Like It.”

to enjoy an order of rtcebirds, oy
