The Brunswick chapter will he represented by Mrs. E. F. Coney, Mrs. C. Symines and Mrs. J. A. Montgomery. The friends of Miss Ethel Jenkins are glad to know that she is hack at her post i>n< the telephone exchange after an absence of two weeks. Miss Jenkins is very popular with the sub scribers and was much missed doing her absence. * • • The Musical Association meets to night at the home of Mrs. W. S. Tay lor. it is regretted very much by the club that because of it being the first of the month so many of the members will be absent this evening that they will not accept Mrs. Gould's kind in vitation to meet at her home, Avoca Villa. The trip has boon postponed until some time when all the mem bers can go. ■* • m invitations have been received in tiiis city td the wedding of Mr. Harry Benjamin Phillips and Miso Rosa Le male, of Monroe, La., which will occur on Sunday, November 29, at the Tem ple Sinai, in Monroe. Mr. Phillips is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Phillips, of this city, and has a large circle oil friends here who will be interested in ihe announcement, of his wedding. Miss Hernia is a charming and popu lar young lady of Monroe. I)r. and Mrs. Wyllys Rede will be at home to their friends on Wed nesdya afternoons of November from 2 to 4 o’clock. This is a pleas and custom observed very little in Brunswick but it is a charming feat ure of social life and Dr. ami Mrs. Rede's at homes will prove very pop ular, giving an opportunity for a social meeting' not always gained by the "bit and miss ’ system of social cal ling. A number of the directors and mem bers of the library association met yesterday at the library rooms and ar ranged the details of the rummage sale tot be hold November 14, 10 and 17.
