On next Mottday night the patrons of the Grand will have a> pleasant sur prise in store for them when the big New York success “The Fatal Wed ding" will please all those who are so fortunate as to be present. The plot is a wonderful one and deals with the adventures of a schem ing woman, who assisted by a male accomplice, encompasses the ruin of a happy family and the separation of a wife from her husband and chil dren in order that she might marry tho hubsand and thereby gain his for tune. She was prevented from doing this, however, by the timely Interference of two characters, namely, a Frenchman and an Irish servant woman, who, in their respective parts, furnish no end of amusement for the audience. An unusually strong company will present this play and the scenic ef fects are said to he of the most real istic. One of the scenes in particular that of tin famous Palisades on the Hudson at night showing a conter feiter’s den, gives a great effect and with the go to make up as strong a scenic productioncas has yet visited the city.
