OFF FOR SCHOOL
Send Youngster Away Well Fed.
Unless the school child has food that
nowrishes Jirain and nerves as well as
muscles the child will not develop as
it should. <
Brain wastes away daily just like
he rest o the body and must be re
built and the only way to do this is
Iny the proper food selected for just
this purpose.
A school girl of Worcester, Mass,
wrote an Interesting article about her
experiments with food to study cm
“Two years ago I had indigestion so
tod that food did not nourish me and
I lost a great deal of flesh and strength
and was always suffering from trou
ble in my stomach. I could not study
for my head always seemed clogged
up.
“One day at school I noticed that
one of the girls iiaij a box of Grape-
Nuts. I asked her about it and from
rvhat she told me, made up my mind
to try the food.
“As the result of eating Grape-Nuts
three times a day in place of Improp
erly selected food I have at least found
ai way to .permantly cure my indiges
tion. Grape-Nuts food is light, delic
ious and digests without any trouble,
the heavy feeling In my stomach Is
gene and I have been gaining flesh
rapidly ever since I made the change
to Grape-Nuts.
“Not only is the improvement phys
ical but I feel so much better and
clearer in my head and I have more
ambition than I have ever known be
fore. r used to feel sa fagged ont
in my brain and stupid and had head
aches but this is all gone now and I
feel like anew person.
“I am absolutely certain that Grape-
Nuts helps me get my lessons, be
cause now I can sit for hours and
study and accomplish a great deal
while cVien I was living on the old
diet I would simply sit there and ac
complish nothing.
"To tell the truth, Grape-Nuts, as
I tell all my friends, worked a miracle
in my case. My mother is signing
this letter to confirm all the statements
I have made.” Name given by Postum

SERVING.
The sweetest lives are those to duty
wed,
Whose deeds, both great and small,
Are close-knit strands of unbroken
thread,
Where love ennobles all.
The world may sound no trumpets,
ring no bells;
The book of life the shining record
tellfl. !
Their love shall chant its own beauti-'
tudes
After its own life working. A child’s
kiss '
Set on thy sighing lips shall make
the glad,
A sick man helped by thee shall make
thee strong
Thou shalt be served thyself by
every sense,
Of service which thou renderest. Eli

A Steamboat War.
There will, in all probability, be a
strong fight om the Satilla river when
the new beat arrives and it is said
by those in position; to know, that one
of the boats will have to quit. It is
a well known fact that there is not as
much business u,p the river at present
as there was some time ago and just
how two will manage to live up there
is a mystery.
May Arrive Monday.
The handsome steamer purchased
by Captain B. A. White tor the Sa
tilla run will, in all probability, ar
rive in port Monday. In the meantime
Cap Land Mrs. White and their little
daughter will return from Norfolk by

boat does.
