The name of little Joe Wheeler Har
per was omitted by mistake in the
account ol' the children’s afternoon at
the fair. The little boy’s graceful
dancing was the feature of the after
noon and won the admiration of the
entire crowd. Joe is a bright little
fellow and is very popular.
IS A WONDERFUL PERFORMER.
Blind Musician Pleased Audience at
the Grand.
Edward W. Perry, the noted blind
musician, was the attraction at the
Grand last night. On account of the
two political meeting being in pro
gress, as well as the Riflemen’s fair,
the audience was not as large as the
attraction deserved.
However, those who were present
were treated to a most enjoyable eve
ning. The playing of this noted blind
man was simply grand, and he has
but few equals at the piano. His dif
ferent selections were well rendered
and thoroughly enjoyed by the au
dience.
While the crowd was small, a great
many people purchased tickets who
could not attend, and all interested
probably came out safe financially.
