TUESDAY MORNING. BRUNSWICK STORES IN CHRISTMAS ATTIRE ALL FILLED WITH PRETTY PRESENTS News Man Takes a Look at the Different Stores, Brunswick Christmas present givers will have but little trouble in select ing an appropriate gift this season for the fact that our merchants have all purchased an unusually large and handsome line of goods, the only Iron hie being that there are so many pretty article one harl.v knows what to select for Ills friends or relative. Yesterday a News reporter visited a number of stores not to purchase a present, as this is almost impossible with a newspaper man, but to merely take a look at the many beautiful ar tides which the others can afford t > buy. Brunswick's stores probably have never before made such a beau tiful display of Christmas goods, and every merchant has put in a well se lected an unusually large stock of holiday goods. Had the reporter been in search of presents, lie could have bought a sui table one for every man, woman and child in Brunswick—that is if some kind friend would have footed the bill In our stores there is everything that one wsheß to see, from the smallest of toys for the little one to the hand somest of presents for the sweetheart, wife or mother. Indeed, for a city Its size, Brunswick can probably boast of having the most enterprising mcr, chants to he found anywhere. While the Christmas trade Is now merely beginning, most of the mer chants report a good advance bus! ness, and ull of them are anticipating an unprecedented holiday business. Yesterday showed the first signs of the holhlav season; the shoppers were out probably for the first time to se lect presents, and many of them al ready have articles reserved lor some friend or relative.
