Besides the sevr ral free attract ions, there will be any number of small shows and many of them ate said to be very good ones. A large number of the people con nected with the carnval arrived in the city Sunday night and yesterday, and about a hundred are already here, pre paring for the opening tomorrow. The affair has been quite thoroughly advertised over the nearby country and it is expected that a number of vsitors will be in the city during the week. The Berger Carnival Company who furnishes the attractions, is a well known and reliable carnival company and is said to .present some realty good attractions.
