Brunswick Merchants Say
Christmas Trade Is
Very Goud
A News reporter yesterday visited
a majority of Brunswick’s merchants
and inquired of them haw the Christ
mts busines had been, and from all
visited with the exception of one(who
by the way is not an advertiser in
The News), came the reply that bus
iness so far had been unusually good,
and that they had enjoyed as good a
trade as was expected. *
“I have done the largest business
since I commenced business in. Bruns
wick,” slated a.leading merchant,“and
I believe that all of cur merchants
have done the same. The people all
seem to have money this year, and
they arc buying many presents.” |
The streets and stores were all
crowded with shopper yesterday, and
the entire city presented a very busy
apeparance. There will be busy
times from now until Christmas and
all of the stores will have about all
that they can do.
