City council will meet in adjourned
'session tomorrow night, and it is ex
pected that a number of interesting
routine matters will come up.

night and the streets did not have
the usual busy Saturday night appear

The four extra men who have been
doing police duty for the past few
days have been dropped from the force
The opera house will be dark again
all this week, and there will not be
another attraction here until January

D. Rede is still continuing the ser
ics of sermons at St. Mark’s church on

tonight will be "What Ground Does the
Church Take in Regard to Conver
sion?” No doubt there are many who
would like to knew just what ground
the Episcopal church takes on this
subject.
