Clerk dußignon reports everything unusually quiet in court house circles at present and only one or two cases ; have been filed during the past sever al weeks. Two oar three arrests were made by the police last night, but all the offen ders were colored and were charged with disorderly conduct. The Mallory steamer San Marcos and the Clyde steamer Seminole ar rived in port yesterday. The San Mar cos proceeded to Mobile, while the Seminole will probably sail today for Boston. Clarence McDonald, who has been connected with the Eilton and Dodge Lumber Company at the cypress mills foor some time, leaves tomrmiow for Lumber City to accept a position with the Oemulgee Lumber Company. Judge Max Isaac has received his commission as Judge advocate of the Georgia Knights of Pythias and it is now being framed by Kerning & Waff. The commission is issued from the headquarters of the Georgia Knights, and is signed by half dozen of the high officials of the order. SHERIFF SALE. State of Georgia, County of Glynn. Will be sold before the court house door In the city of Brunswick, said county and state, on the first Tuesday in January next, within the legal hours of sale, at public outcry, to the highest and best bidder for cash, under and by virtue of a tax execution is sued by H. J. Read, tax collector of said county, for the year 1902 against the estate of W. 11. Satterthwaite, and in favor of H. Iverson, transferee. Amount of taxes $70,34 besides inter est and cost the following des cribed property, to-wit: 2boilers, 1 en gine, complete, 1 hoisting machine, 2 husk frames, 2 circular saws, 1 set corrage irons, 1 bellows, belting, shaft 'ing, unu pulleys, 1 butting saw and rigging. Owing to the fact that said property is difficult and expensive to transport, the same will bo sold with out being carried and exposed at the court house door on the day of sale. Said property being now located at the mill of the said Satterthwaite, on the lino of the Southern railway, be tween. the stations of Sapp’s Still and Belvista, In said county.
