Mill MAy Start Up.
A rumor was afloat on the streets
yesterday that the large mill of the
Hilton and Dodge Lumber Company
on St. Simon, which has been shut
down for the past several weeks,
would shortly resume operation.
However, there was no one in the
city who gotild confirm the rumor. .

No Program Arranged.
It loojts as if the steamer Satillu
will arrive in Brunswick next week
without receiving a welcome from
the people of this city. It has been
suggested that tlve people arrange
a little (program of some kind to show
their appreciation of the new line,
but nothing has so far be. i done
in that direction.

DUDLEY ASBELL WAS INJURED
ON A. C. L. WHARVES
LAST NIGHT.
Dudley Asbell, night watchman on
the wharves of the Atlantic Coast
Line railroad, was injured early last
night bv being fright between a
>’ Ox car ami one of the butting
blocks on the wharves.
It seems that Mr. Asbell was cross
ing in front of the butting bloc!,
when the train moved back * upon
him. and he was forced against the
block and caught between if and the
end of a box ar. Assistance soot;
arrived and Dr. G. W. Blanton was
summoned. The injured man was

thought that he was injured inter

WRENN TO DEATH IS HELD
BY CORONER’S JURY.
U. W. Day. the postoflicu clerk,
who, on Thursday night stubbed to
death in Tampa, Albert K. Wrenn,
a brother of Mrs. J. F. Norris, of
this city, has been placed in jail in
Pam pa and is being held on the
charge of murder in the first degree,
a verdict to that effect having been
rendered by the coroner’s jury.
The jury met Friday moiling and
spent the entire day on the ease,
returning their verdict Friday night,

ed with interest in this city.
