a Sneak Thief in Bavannah

Large Number of Italians Arrived
Yesterday on the Steamer City
of Birmingham.
The steamer City of Birmingham,
of the Ocean Steamship Company's
fleet, chartered by the Mallory Lina
to make a trip to this port, arrived
yesterday from New York one day
overdue. *
Aboard the Steamer were thirty-five
Italian laborers, who are bound for
Arcadia, Fla., to engage in work on
the New Charlotte Harbor and North
ern railroad, which is being construct-'
td from Bace Ora to Arcadia.
This makes the third or fourth in
stallment of laborers that have pass
ed through this city eurouto to lTor-|
ida to wori; on the road. Altogether !
105 have gone down there within the
past month.

A change has been announced in
the real estate, loan and investment
firm of W. H. Jloyd & Cos, whereby
the present mamti-ei of the business,
W. H. Boyd, purchases the interest
of S. L. Hyals, of Charleston, S. C.,
formerly his partner in the business
Heretofore the concern has also had
a branch effi.e in Charleston which
Mr. Boyd was sold to Mr. Kyals buy
ing in turn the full interest in the
Brunswick business. By this deal
