A SPLENDID SHOWING.
Just a year ago tile Brunswick
Development Company was launched
In.o the Brunswh k business world.
At a meeting of the stockholders yes
terday a report of the operations
of ihe company, which has a capital
stock of only ten thousand dollars,
■showed an earning of eleven percent
in the Investment
-'hats a splendid showing.
It shows that such concerns can
and will pay in Brunsiwck if wise
ly managed. A clean dividend of 11
percent Is not a very bad Investment
when It remembered that, bank stock
only pays about eight percent in
mjany cities. Then again, it must
be remembered that it was the first
years' business of the company
which naturally *will increase in fu
ture. The News congratulates the
company on the good rectal and
wishes it greater suodfe.^^^L
