Two Trips Sunday.
The St. Simon Transit Company
will run two boats to St. Simon Sun
day. One of them will leave the city
at 9 <£ clock In the morning and an
other at 2,90 in the afternoon. The
fare for the round trip Is only fifty
cents and there is no more pleas
way of spending the day. If the
warm weather keeps up the surf win
be very tempting and the tide will
suit In the afternoon.

Rumored That the Railroads Will
Not Put Them on This Summer.
According to a well founded rumor
the raiiroads in this seciion will not
I<un on the cheap Sunday rates this
summer, as has been the case for the 1
.past several years. Of course the
cheap Sunday rates for a round trip
will be in force as usual, but accord
ing to the report those dollar'Sun
day excursions will be discontinued
altogether. None of the local rail
road men seemi to be In position to
confirm this rumor, but it is though
to be true.
