FARMERS ARE NOW BUSY
REPLANTING THEIR CROPS.
The farmers of Glynn county have
had hard luck this season and many
are now busly engaged In replanting
as the first seeds were placed in dry
ground and did not come up. This
will be the third planting as the
second .ruined by the heavy
rains which caused all to rot in the
ground.

NO MARSH HEN TIDES /
SO FAR THIS SEASON.
The average hunter has been dis
appointed very much so far this sea
son on account of the fact that no
real spring tide has come. Those
who watch such things are of the
opinion that within the next few days
a "springer” will be here and then
many of the toothsome hens of the
marsh will be bagged.

SECOND WEEK OF SCHOOL j
FINDS ADDITIONAL PUPILS.
The second week of public schools
started yesterday and a number of
new pupils presented themselves at
each of th schools in "Brunswick and
some additional students in
the country schools. Everything is
now moving along very well at all the
school* J scholars and teachers are off
for a term’s hard work.

law against intoxicated persons driv

ing has been tried and Judge Butts
told the offenders that he was letting
them down light. The Judge added
"whiskey and gasoline don’t go very
well together, especially where an au
tomobile is the third article.”
