LYTELL NOW BLASE
j Bert Lytell, Metro star, whose lat
j est picture, “The Man Who,” a Max
; well Karger production, is now sliow
in gat the Bijou "Theatre, confesses to
being utterly blase ,where, big parades
are concferned. His reason is that
while acting for the above picture in
Jacksonville, Fla., his role demanded
his walking through the streets bare
foot. The whole town turned out
enmasse to watch him, and the mob
of curiosity seekers always trailing
him, brought him to such a state
that now a parade means* little to him.
Arthur Zellner adapted “The Man
Who” to the screen from Lloyd Os
borne’s Saturday Evening Post story.
Arthur Martinelli photographed it,
and M. P. Staulcup designed the art

HOBART BOSWORTH COMING
IN VIBRANT SCREEN DRAMA
Hobart Bosworth of “Sea Wolf”
fame has long been identified with
roles of the sea and Alaskan locales.
The J. Parker Read. Jr., star has de
serted the roles and locales with
which he has been for s.o long hap
pily identified at least temporarily,
as will be seen at the Bijou Theatre,
where hes latest starring vehicle “A
Thousand To One” will show on Wed- ]
nesday.
In this production, the first of the
Bosworth vehicles to be released
under the Associated Producers ban
ner, the virile star is seen as the dil
lettante, the sportsman, the waster.
This new Bosworth characterization
exemplifies his versatility and
the audience <3mplk opportunity to j
judge their favorite in a different j
light.
