OCTOBER FIRST COMES *
WITHOUT USUAL CHANGES.
Asa rule October lis the day of all
days for changes, business and other
wise, but it seems that everybody is
satisfied with his or her present en
vironment and few, if any, removals
or changes, whatever, have been an
nounced. This seems to show that
all are satisfied with matters as they
stand at present.

It certainly proved to be a record
breaker as far as this immediate
community is concerned as every cit

Steamers for This Port Will
Also Have a Talk With the
Chairman About State Term-,
inals.
Armed with some good sound facts
relative to the many advantages of
fered by Brunswick as the port for
the srate terminals, the committee
which leaves here next Monday for
Atlanta to work on the Clyde Line
matter will take occasion to have a
conference with Chairman
about the location of the proposed
state-owned terminals, to be estab
lished at some Georgia port.
Facts and figures are already in the
hands of the committee, and these
will be discussedd at length with the
man who probably has more to say
about where the terminals are to be
located, than any other. Mr. Mc-
Lendon has always been a friend to
Brunswick, and the public can rest
assurred that this city will get a
square deal from him on the port
proposition.

What Your Time Worth?
■ Ji<
WHEN you go to buy a pair of boots, a can of peas or a kitchen
cabinet, do you know exactly w hat you want —or lo you “shop
around” and take pot luck?
You can save many an hour's time—and many a good hard
dollar —by knowing beforehand what you want, where to get it,
and approximately how much it will cost.
You can always know this much before you enter a store.
If it's clothing, you know how well it should wear and what
the style should be. if it's a musical instrument, you know
what to expect in tone and workmanship. If it's a carpet sweep
er, you know what kind of service it should give.
