Charlie Newsome, larceny, stole
sheriff’s pistol from, car at court house.
Reformatory, Incorrigible.
Charlie Newsome, a white boy about
fifteen years of age, was before the
court for larceny. The youth slipped
Sheriff Pyles’ pistol from big car while
the same was standing near his office
in the court house building. This boy
has' been sent to the state reformatory
and Judge Butts will likely order him
sent to some institution again. The
# boy is well connected by seems abso
lutely incorrigible and Just what the
city court judge will do with him is
not known at this time.

Russian schools and denationalization
of theaters and moving picture houses,
was announced today by* M. Lunarch
iski, former Russian minister of edu
cation, who has reached Riga and is
trying to proceed to Italy to represent
the Third Internationale at the Ital
ian .Socialist conference. He desires
the Central government to turn over
the management of the schools to lo
cal governments, private schools not
to be permitted.

Tuesday is “Glynn Day” at Big
Brantley Fair and People

Today itnd Monday several boosters
will be blit in the interest of a big
Brunswick and county crowd from this
ty and section on Tuesday, which
has been designated as “Glynn County
Day,” and the people of Hoboken,
where the-fair is to -be held, are look
ing for a* large number of people and
they should not be disappointed.
The program arranged for that day
will be especially interesting. Hon.
William G. Brantley, for many years
representative of this district in the
national house of representatives, will
speak at the fair on Wednesday, but it
is stated he will be there on the pre
vious day, the twelfth instant, and
mingle with his old time Brunswick
friends.
The fair management will have all
the attractions of the present day en
, terprise of the kind and this includes
magnificent live stock and agricultur
al exhibits, as well as the midway,
etc. The Hoboken people have spared
no expense in making this, their first
fair, a great success and of all com
munities Brunswick should lead in
attendance.

Company as the result of the Brown
House fire and explosion when six
persons lost their lives are now pend
ing against the company. The total
was brought to this amount Thursday
