REACHES PORT.
The stammer Adra reached port yes
terday from Jacksonville and will
take on a cargo 6f naval stores from

TANKER FOLGER HAS
DISCHARGED CARGO. '
The big tanker Folgerr, which ar
rived at the Atlantic Refining com
pany wharves Monday with a cargo
of crude oil, has already discharged
the cargo and has left for Texas City
to return with another load. The
vessel remained in port only a day.
LARGEST NUMBER CASES
IN CITY COURT HISTORY.
Yesterday was regular return day
in the city court of Brunswick and
the nmber of cases was larger than
■it any time since the establishment
of the court, more than twenty-two
years ago. Many of these were of an
unimportant nature, however.

OONSTABLE HUFF, PLACED
IN JAIL, BOND.
Yesterday Sheriff R. S. Pyles ar
rested Constable 4- E. Huff under a
warrant sworn out before Judge
Butts, charging him with interferring
with schools, -and was placed in the
Glynn county jail, where he remained
[or about an hour. Horace D. Sy
mons and Madison O. went on
the officer’s bond in the sum of SSOO
and he was released. The case against
the officer will be heard at the next
regular session of the city court in
November.
CITY MAKES GOOD SHOW
IN FACTORY INCREASE.
According to ceunus figures just re
ceived, Brunswick makes an excellent
showing in factory increases. It had
46 establishments In 1919, compared,
with 34 in 1914, 1.810 persons employ
ed In manufacturing as compared
with 8.34, a gain of 117 per cent;
3,236 primary horsepower compared
With 2,692, a gain of 25 per cent;
$6,391,000 capital. * compared with
$831,000. a gain of 549 per cent; cost
of material gained from $364,000 to
$2,603,000, or 616 per cent. Value ot
products’ gained from $841,000 to $6,
101.000 or 636 per cent. Amount paid
for service gained from 129K.000 to
12.224.U00 or 646 per crtit. Wages
gained 72S per cent, while salaries
gained 236.
