PETITION FOR CHARTER.

To the Superior Court of said Coun
ty, and of said State: s
The petition of A. Brack, W. K.
Sears, and' Jay Catledge, all of said
County, alleges:
1. Petitioners desire for them
selves, their associates and succes
sors, to be incorporated and made a
body politic under the name and'ktyle
of White Wonder Company, for thk
period bF’llWfehty years. * f/
2. TeM office and
business of said corporation to be
in the City of Brunswick, State and
County aforesaid, with the right to
open and establish in said State, or
elsewhere, branch offices or places
of business, when deemed advisable
by and so determined by a majority
of the stock holders.
3. The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain to itself and its
share or stock* holders.
4. The business of said corporation
is to manufacture and sell, at whole
sale, insecticide, extracts, drugs, toi
let articles, “Brack’s White Wonder”
and all other similar products as may
be manufactured and sold by corpora
tions of like character, and to carry
in stock for the purpose of sale all
irticles of like character for the pur
pose of sale, by like corporation.
5. The capital stock of said corpora
tion shall be twenty thousand dollars,
with the right and privilege of in
creasing same to the sum of fifty thou
sand, by a majority vote of the stock
holders, all stock to be common stock,
and divided into shares of twenty-five
dollars, each, ten per cent of the
capital stock to be employed by pe
titioners has been actually paid in.
6. Peiitioners desire the right to
have subscriptions to said capital
stock paid in either money or prop
erty to be taken at a fair valuation.
7. Petitioners also desire the right
to issue preferred stock, in such
amounts as may be desired and de
termined at any time by a majority
of the stock holders.
8. Petitioners desire the right to
she and be sued, to jilead and be im
pleaded in its corporate name, to have
and gise a common seal, to make all
necessary by-laws, rules and regula
tions, and do all otlier things that
may be* necessary for the successful
conduct and carrying on of the busi
ness cf said corporation, and to exe
cute notes, bonds, and to secure the
payment .hereof by either mortgage,
deed to secure debt, or otherwise,
and whlcjh miajy be necessary and
proper under the laws of said State;
also the right to take any and all
notes, bonds, mortgages, deed to se
cure debt, payable to said corpora
tion as evidence of indebtedness, due
and payable thereto, to own, lease,
rent, purchase or otherwise have and
control all real esUte cr personal
property, necessary qr which may be
micesdory, in a proper conduct, oper
ation or prosecution of the business
cf said corporation in its said busi
ness.
*9. Petitlners also desire the right
for said corporation the power and
authority to app’y for and accept
amendments to its said charter, in
either form or substance, wdien au
thorized by a majority of its stock out
standing at the time, also the right
and authority, for said corporation to
liquidate and wind up its affairs and
discontinue business, at any time it
may determine to do so by a vote cf
two-thirds of its stock outstanding at
that time, With the. right of renewal
when and as provided by the law's of
said State, and that it have ail such
other rights, powers, privileges and
immunities as are incident to like
corporations, or permissible under
the laws of Georgia.
WHEREFORE, jetitioners pray to
be incorporated under the name and
style aforesaid, with the power*, priv
ileges and immunities herein set out.

s 1. That they desire for themselves,
their associates and successors, to be
incorporated under the name and style
of J. J. Lissner, luq.
2. The principal office of said cor
poration shall be at or near the City
of Brunswick, in said County and
State, with authority ,to establish
branch offices or other offices, or other
places of doing business, at other
points'in the State of Georgia or else
where in the United States.
3. The object of said corporation is
pecuniary gain to itself and its stock
holders.-
4. Petitioners' desire to engage in
the wholesale grocery business and
the running and operation of any and
all kinds of mercantile business, eith
er at wholesale or retail, as said cor/
poration may determine; to cfeal in all
kinds of merchandise and commodi
ties; to act as commission merchant
or broker; and to carry on such mer
cantile business, or to engage in such
enterprises, not inconsistent with the
terms of its charter, as said corpora
tion ,or its board of directors may
deem fit and proper.
5. The capital stock of said corpor
ation shall be twenty-five thousand
($25,000.00) dollars to be divided into
two hundred and fifty (250) shares of
the par value of one hundred ($100.00)
dollars each, and which capital stock
they pray the privilege of increasing
at any time to an amount not exceed
ing two hundred thousand ($200,000)
dollars,and if said capital stock should
be so increased, to diminish the same
at any time to an amount not less than
the original capital stock. Petition
ers desire the right to have the sub
scriptions to said capital stock paid
in money or property to be taken at a
fair valuation. Petitioners further de-*
sire authority to issue common and
preferred stock in such proportions as
the stock-holders may determine.
6. That to secure the purpose and
object of said corporation, they desire
o be empowered to buy, sell, lease,
and obtain all kinds and descriptions
of property, either real or personal;
to buy, handle and sell goods, wares
and merchandise of all kinds and char
acters; to deal for others on com
mission, and to do any and all acts
that may be deemed pecfessary in the
operation of said business; to make
contracts* to borrow and lend money,
and to secure the same by mortgage,
deed or trust or otherwise.
7. The term for which petitioners
ask to be Incorporated is twenty (20)
years, with the privilege of renewing
at or before the expiration of that pe
riod.
8. That said corporation may have
all of the common powers conferred
upon corporations by the laws of this
State.
9. They desire the power and au
thority to apply for and accept amend
ments to the charter, of either form or
substance, by a vote of a majority of
the stock outstanding at the time.
They also ask authority for said cor
poration to wind up the affairs, liqui
date and discontinue the business of
said corporation at any time it may
determine to do so fey a vote of two
thirds of the outstanding stock at the
time.
WHEREFORE petitioners pray to
be made a body corporate, under the
name and style aforesaid, entitled to
the rights, privileges and immunities,
and subject to the liabilities fixed by !
law.

“Brunswick and Interurban Railway
Company.”
2. That the principal office of said
Company shall be in the City of
Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia.
3. That petitioners propose to con
struct a street railway in said City
of Brunswick/ with the right to con
struct lines on any of the streets,
lanes, squares and alleys of said City,
as shown by the of said City of
file in the office of the Clerk of said
City, and as well on any or all of
which may hereafter be laid out and
established in said City.'
4. That petitioners also desire the
right to extend and construct said
railway in any part of said Glynn
County outside the corporate limits of
said City of Brunswick.
5. That said street railway shall
not be less than two miles In length,
with the right to extend the same
from time to time, is the discretion of
the petitioners, their successors or
assigns. -
6. The capital stock of said Com
pany shall consist of Five Hundred
snares of common stock, each of said
shares to be of the par value of One
Hundred Dollars, making the capital
of said Company Fifty Thousand Dol
lars ($50,000.00).
7. That petitioners desire that said
Corporation shall have the right to
increase.lts Capital stock, and to is
sue other classes of stock, from time
to time, as provided by law, in such
cases.
8. That petitioners desire to be In
corporated under said name and style
for a terra of one hundred and one
years.
9. That pettiioners <oin in good
faith to go forward without delay to
secure subscriptions to the Capital
stock of said Corporation, and to con
struct, equip, maintain and operate
said railway.
10. That petitioners have given
four weeks’ notice of their intention
to apply for said Charter by the pub
lication cf this petition In the Bruns
wick News, the official organ of said
Glynn County, once a. week for four,
weeks.
11. That petitioners desire for
themselves, their associates, succes
sors and assigns, to organize such
Corporation in accordance with the
provisions of this petition, with the
right to borrow money and secure the
same by mortgage or deed of trust on
its property, or by other forms of se
curity, and to make all necessary by
laws, rules and regulations for the
government of the Corporation, and
generally to have all the powers ;jid
privileges granted and permitted to
such Corporation under the laws of
said State. .
