Earle Williams is sure to contintiis
in popularity with such a vehicle w
“It Can Be Done,” which is showiM?.
at the 'Bijou theater today. In this
, production he assumes the role of an
author who attempts to live one of
his stories. The action is humorous
in places and at times assume® in
tensely dramatic proportions. It is a
tfort of detective story, full of mystery,
suspense and action. The love inter
est has not been forgotten by the-an
ther and it completes a well rounded
story that will appeal fo the average
person. Elinor Fair plays opposite
,the star, w-ho is supported by a cast of
screen favorites. The film was direct
ed by David Smith.
AERIAL THRILLS IN
“STRANGER THAN FICTION.”
Among the exciting moments in
“Stranger Tha& Fiction.” Katherine
MacDonald's latest % release through
Associated First National Pictures,
Inc., and which* will he showm at the
Grand Theatre today, is a battle in
the air, in which one of the contest
ants, with his parachute strapped to
his hack, leaps from the burning ma
chine and i .rescued by another air
plane. It is probable that this Stunt
has- never befere been seep on the
screen and it will probably be some
time before it is duplicated. %
Miss MacDonald is supported by a
notable cast of players, anion g whom
is Wesley Barryt .who has the part
of “F|racklsß,” a street urchin-, to
whom the wealthy society girl takes a
fancy and brings into her home. The
Grand management confidently ex
pects local theatregoers to vote
“Stranger Than Fiction” Miss Mac-
Donald’s best picture.

V HEN you go to buy a pair of boots, a cal of peas or a kitchen
cabinet, do you know exactly what you want—or lo yon “shop
around” and take pot luck? * •
Vou can save many an hour’s time—and many a good bard
dollar—by knowing beforehand what you want, where to get it,
and approximately how much it will cost.
\
You can always know this much before you enter a store.
If it’s clothing, you know how well it should wear and what
the style should he. If it's a musical instrument, you know
w hat to expect in tone and workmanship. If it’s a carpet sweep
