THERE IS IfIGOR,
IN RICH BLOOD
PEPTO-MANGAN IN
LIQUID OR TABLETS
—A BLOOD BUILDER.
Vigor and strei gth have as
base rich red bli od. Blood is
when there are pleftty of red cofgus

which swim in blood and give it cMffT-
Without red corpuscles blood wajend
be white. When overwork, or strain
ing, or illness weakens the
diminishes the number of *ed |§l s.
Without a sufficient number o tyred
cells the blood becomes watery, tne
body-weak. Vigor and strength fall
off, so that physical life diminishes
like a fading plant. The physical plea
sures of eating and sleeping and ex
ercise lose all attraction! Thera is
no zest in living.
After Glide’s Peptb-Mangar has
bee® taken for a while the blood be
comes rich with red cells. They help
to nourish the entire system. With
good blood at work there is a great
difference in living. • Eating sleeping
and exercise are enjoyed. All drug

SUPERB DE MIL|.E PICTURE
Cecil B. DeMille, perhaps the fore
most motion picture producer in the
country, if not the jyorld, his played
his genius at its best in his latest Par
:%ount picture, “The of An
atol,” presented, splen
did effect fit the Bijou theatre last
night, and is to be shown again, today.
From every standpoint—investiture,
its all-star cast, sumptouousness of
settings, brilliance of directorial exe
cation, richness of costumes, quality
of story and general artistry, this pic
ture marks a distinct epoch in screen
production of the decade.
The story, written by Jeanie Mac
pherson, and suggested by the famous
play by Arthur Schnitzler, deals v.-itl
an impressionable young man o<,*
wealth who finds time to interest hitr
self in the affairs of others and wh
learns by practical experience that it
pays best to attend to one’s own af
fairs and let others do the same.
The cast is superb and includes
such stars as Wallace Reid, Gloria
Swanson, Elliott Dexter. Bebe Dan
iels, Monte Blue, Wanda Hawley,
Theodore Roberts; Agnes Ayres, and
Theodore Kosloff. Their portrayals
are artistic and add vastly to the val
ue of the production. The photoplay
by Alvin Wyckoff and Karl Struss is
beautiful. Take it all in all this is
perhaps the best picture thus far
made by Cecil B. DeMille and that is
saying a great deal.
EXTRAORDINARY DUAL
PHOTOGRAPHY OBTAINED
Some :of the most rffmarkable dual
photography ever obtained in a mo
tion picture iis. accredited to ‘‘The
Mask.” the Col. Wm. N. Selig special
production which will be shown again
at The Grand today.
In the screen version of this thrill
in gtale of romance and adventure by
Arthur Hbrnblow, Jack Holt has a
dual role, playing the parts of Ken
neth Traynor. a clean cut young bus
iness man. and of “Handsome Jack,”
hiS twin brother and black sheep of
the Traynor family.
In one scene Kenneth, aroused
a temporary loss of memory by the
pleadings cf his little son and thy
screams of a woman, tear* down a
door and goes to thy.rescue of his wifk*
who is being attacked by a. man in an
other room. The man. one Signor
Keralio, draws a pistol and points it
at Kenneth. Handsome Jack bursts
into the room through another door,
rushes across the room and planting
his body before that<D£4iis brother re
ceives Keralio’a/btrtl#tOnd atones in
that way for past misdeeds.
Hettda Nova, in the leading femi
nine role, is the woman around whom
this intensely dramatic struggle is
staged. Little Mickey Moore, ct fav
orite kiddie of the silent drama; is the
child.
SCHOOL CHILDREN TAKE NOTICE
Of course, everyone is going to that
> mutually good Paramount picture,
•The Affairs of Anatol.” Wallace Reid
*7s the leading role, supported by
Bebs Daniels, Gloria Swanson. Wan
la Hawley, (Agnes Ayres, and Theo
dore Roberts.
The basket ball girls will sell the
tickets' Thursday and Friday at the
grammar and high schools at a re
duced price of 10 apd pO cents.
The kindness of Mr. Brown, mana
ger of the Bijou Theatre. was : appre
ciated very much as he offered to give
the girls a certain per cent on the tick
ets sold. By purchasing tickets at
school the children under twelve
years tcf age get a reduction of fifteen
cents.
The proceeds will go to the Athletic
Association of Glynn Academy and we

What’s Your Time Worth?
WHEN you go to buy a pair of boots, a can of peas or a kitchen
cabinet, do you know exactly what you want—or lo you “shop
around” and take pot luck?
You can save many an hour’s time—and many a good hard
uollar—by knowing beforehand what you want, where to get it,
and approximately how much itwiiicost.
You can always know this much before you enter a store.
If if s clothing, you know how well it should wear and w hat

what to expect in tone and workmanship. If it’s a carpet sweep

What Do Yon Know
About Your Blood?
Is It Normal? Is It Rich? Is,lt Free of Waste Products?
Is It Pure?

How the Test May Be Made.
x K 03 diC J fcvL * v , \a . -: r
In justice to yourself and your loved
tones you should know the truth about
your blood—for who knows at what
time he or she will be called upon to
stand this test. "**&■
Ask' yourself these simple quiMfbns:
Do I feel tired when I get up in the
morning? Am I all fagged out at
night? Is my face pale ahd drawn?
Do I suffer with pains in my muscles
and joints? Am I subject to any skin
disease? Have I any pimples or boils?
Nature is warning you if your
answer to any of these questions is
“Yes.” Nature now needs help. She
has done her best but is failing.
Listen to nature's warning. Your
blood is your fountain source of ener
gy— therefore keep your blood rich
and pure.
Our greatest health asset is to have
blood which is pure and clean—blood
which is free of waste products,
