Shiloh Baptist church, is seriously
sick at his home, corner Londpn and
Amherst streets. He has been in
charge of this church for more than
twenty years and numbers his friends

CITY TRUCKS HAVE BEEN
HAULING ROAD MATERIAL.
If 'there has been an apparent lax
ity in the city sanitary department
recently, tt is not really the fault of
any one as the trucks had to he taken
off temporarily for the purpose of
hauling gravel for the Norwich street
work. In the meantime, the trucks
will be returned to their proper de
partment as soon as possible.
BAROMETER AT 30 AND
SHIPS REMAIN IN PORT.
The barometer did not show signs
late yesterday that the storm was out
of the danger zone and a number of
