NOTICE OF ELECTION ON ISSUE
OF ROAD BONDS.
T< the Voters of Glynn Count, Geor
gia:
You are hereby notified that an
election will be held in and for Glynn
County, Georgia, on the 23 day of No
vember, 1921, to determine the ques
tion of whether or not bonds shall be
.issued by said county in the sum of
one hundred and seventy-five thou
sands dollars, to he used and nppty'd
in the construction, and building a
read from a point in the vicinity of
the “Old Cypress Mill site” across
the marsh to a point in the vicinity of
former mill site of the Hilton &
Dodge Lumber Company on St. Simon
island, and for the building and im
provement of roads on St. Simons
I Island and for the building and con
struction of a road from St. Simons to
Long Island, said bonds to be paid
ami discharged as follows:
Scv*‘n thousand i dollars on the first
day of January of each year for twen
ty-five consecutive yjars, beginning
January Ist, 1925, so that said bonds
shall be fully paid by January Ist,
1949;
Said bonds shall bear Interest at
the rate of six per cent per annum,
payable semi-annually on the first
dayj of January and July each year.
Such bonds if authorized, shall be
validated and issued from time to
time and as sold ami disposed of.
Said election shall he held at all
the voting precincts within ttye limits
of said county, in the same manner
and under the same rules and regula
tions that, elections for officers of sale!
county are held.
This notice Is given In pursuance of
an order and resolution passed and
adopted by the Commissioners of
Roads and Revenues of said County
at a regular lawful meeting of said
Commissioners held vn the 10th day
of October, 1921.

5. The capital stock cr said corpora
tion shall be twenty thousand dollars,
with the right and privilege
creasing same to the sum of fifty thou
sand,, by.a majority vote of the stock
holders, all stock to be common stock,
and divided into shares of twenty-five
dollar#,each, ten pet* cent of the
capital Stock to be employed by pe
titioners has been actually paid in.
6. Petitioners desire the right to
have subscriptions to said capital
| stock paid in either money or prop
erty to be taken at a fair valuation.
7. Petitioners also desire the right
to issue preferred stock, in such
amounts as may be desired and de
termined at any time by a majority
of the stock holders.
8. Petitioners desire the right to
sue and be sued, to plead and be im
plsaded in its corporate name, to have
and use a common seal, to make all
necessary by-laws, rules and regula
tions, and do all other things that
may be necessary for the successful
conduct and carrying on of the busi
ness of said corporation, and to exe
cute notes, bonds, and to secure the
payment hereof by either mortgage,
deed to secure debt, or otherwise,
and whieji mia}y be necessary and
proper under the laws of said State;
also the right to take any and all
notes, bonds, mortgages, deed to se*
cure debt, payable to said corpora
tion as evidence of indebtedness, due
and payable thereto, to own, lease,
rent, purchase or otherwise have and
control all real estate or personal
property, necessary or which may be
necessary, in a proper conduct, oper
ation or prosecution of the business
of said corporation in its said busi
ness.
9. Petltiners also' desire the right
for said corporation the power and
authority to apply for and accept
amendments to its said charter, in
either form or substance, when au
thorized by a majority of its stock out
standing at the time, also the right
and authority, for said corporation to
liquidate and wind np Its affairs and
discontinue business, at apy time it
may determ do so by a vote of
two-thirds of its stock outstanding at
that time. With the right of renewal
when and as provided by the laws of
said State, and that it have all such
other rights, powers, privileges and
immunities as are incident to like
corporations, or permissible undei
the laws of Georgia.
WHEREFORE, jetitioners pray tc
he incorporated under the name and
style aforesaid, with the powers, priv
lieges and immunities herein set out,
and as are now, r may hereafter be,
allowed corporations of similar char
acter, under the laws of said state.
