More Than Three Hundred Dol

Mrs, High, Chairman, Says

At the end of the second day tne
Y. \W. C. A. campaign last night re
ported a steady jog-trot that the lead
ers consider more reliable than a
spurt of easily exhausted energy
would be. After two days of work
the amount gathered nearly reaches
one-third of the required quota, which
is enough to forbid discouragement
while not so much as to allow of ie
laxing energy. The total of yester
day’s yield is $376.75. Added to the
$628.41 of Wednesday the total to date
stands at $1004.16.
According to teams the following to
tals made up yesterday's record:
Team from the Young Men s Club,
$30.00. ; Team No. 1. Mrs. Hope
Strong, captain, $19.00. Team No. 2,
Miss Eylau Anderson, captain, $34.00.
Team No. 3, Mrs. RoughtOn, captain,
$46.25. Team No. 4, Mrs. W. P. Gu*y

R. E. Sherman, captain, $25.00. Team
No. 6, Mrs. H. 11. Herndon, captaiu,
$43.00. Team No. 7, Mrs. R. Y. Smith,
captain, $53.00. Team No. 8, Mrs. W.

our shtoulders to the wheel and not
stop until we have got what we start

what is needed for the Y. W. C. A. is
in Brunswick for the Y. W. C. A. and
to be had for the asking. “Of course
there are new projects and enterprises
aboard that are occupying our atten

W. C. A. Day visitors to Brunswick
from Darien, bringing their trade and
patronage, as well as the many tour

few hours, have no other place tto go
that will offer them what they need
as do the Y. W. C. A. quarters, which
are in daily use for this purpose. And
this is only one of the needs which
the Y. W. C. iA. meets in Brunswick.
