WEATHER FORECAST
FOR PRESENT WEEK.
For the South Atlantic and East
Cold weather will pre
vail, wTtn freezing temperature in the

• Florida. Generally fdir weather is in
dicated* with probability of rains in
middle of the week.
COLD WAVE OFF BUT
STORM PREDICTED.
The weather bureau has called off
the predicted cold wave but issues a
storm warning instead. It is said to
be jewing near the Bahama Islands
and is moving in a northwesterly di
rection and may go as far along the
Atlantic Coast as Cape Henry. While
the freezes did not strike Brunswick
there has been a perceptible drop in
the mercury and has been real chilly.
The forecast for today says: “Cloudy,
no change in temperature.” .
MANY HUNTERS
OUT YESTERDAY.
Scores went to the woods yester
day, the first day of the hunting sea
son and some got good bags. It is
generally reported that quail are more
plentiful tills season than in the past
and this is due largely to the Georgia
game laws. Both State Inspector
Wilkes and Warden Hopkins are ask
ing the cooperation of all sportsmen
In enforcing the law and they should
receive it.

STALE BLOOD
: AFFECTS FEELING
4 ■' ■■ T ■
PEPTO-MANGANi MAKES
RED, BLOOD, RESTORES
WEALTHY GLOW.
It is gradually, very gradually, that
the effeQts of blood become
apparent. Generally is a feeling
of lassitude. It is like*a harmless,
lazy heaviness, and the ‘ complexion
becomes muddy.
Gude’s Pepto-Mangan is the very
first thing a woman should think of
taking for a stale-looking complexion.
It drives out the poisons that ruin
complexions.
But it is not only the effect that
Gude’s Pepto-Mangan has upon the
complexion that makes it so valuable.
New healthy blood causes an improve
ment in feelings, a return to the uual
warmth and glow, an appetite that
eagerly awaits eating time.
