gage in shipping crab meat on an ex
tensive scale and will eventually

IN PORT YESTERDAY.
The Northern Transportation tug
Norfolk, one cf the largest on the
coast, reached port yesterday morn
ing with the barge Northern 16 in
tow. The latter will take on a cargo
of lumber at Kilkennoy.

The Board of Education has allow
ed the schools two in which te
observe Thanksgiving and there will
be no sessions of the city or county
schools today or tomorrow, resuming
Monday morning.

placed in position a large sign at
Camp Lanier. This was painted on
canvas and will remain there until
one of wood or a more substantial ma
terial is placed in position. The sign
advises visitors that they are wel
come and tells them this is the tourist
rest place.
ENSIGN YOUNG GIVES
INTERESTING LECtURE.
Ensign Young, of the Atlanta head
quarters of the Salvation Army, gave
an illustrated lecture at the McKen
dree Methodise church last night, his
subject being; “The World’s Greatest
Revelation,” and a large number were
present. Ensign Young, in charge of
the young people’s department of the
Salvation Army, never leses an oppor
tunity to please the little ones arid
