“FALSE KISSES” fI^BOPULAR
GRAND TODAY.
Miss du Pont, has
carefully folded up her
wardrobe and is now
ragged, unkempt clothes of a
house keeper’s wife.
As the fteroiffc of “False Kisses,’*
from “Ropes,” the original play writ
ten by Wilbur Daniel Steele, Miss du
Font has no use for her man
ner or society frocks —and she is glad
of it.
Doth in “Foolish Wives” anti “The
Rage of Paris,” Mis#du Pont wears
from sixteen to twenty different cos
tumes, but in “False Kisses” she lias
an opportunity to see herself in the
garb of a poor girl and with her hdir
slicked back in a most unbecoming
knot.
“I felt slightly at sea for a time, in
the making of the picture,” said Miss
du Pont, “but 1 was glad of the op
putrunity to look plain.. 1 was \ired
of the perfect manicure and the ele
gance of expensive dresses; 1 wel
comed a change.” *
“False Kisses” will be shown at the
({rand Theatre today.
