• tin
The holidays are coming soon,
When school will keep no more;
P’rom the college John is coining home
From boarding school Ignore.
They will he holidays for John
And pretty young, Lenore,
But mother’s best sleep all she can
fn these days before.
For what with John demanding food,
And Nona’s beaux around,
To busy mother “holidays”
Is but an empty sound.
