AROUND THE CORNER.
You were so intent on something
You’d no time to talk with me,
And you hurried ’round the corner,
Just as busy as could be. j •
I don’t know what you were playing)

But I do kt#iw it was lonelv

When you vanished from njj sight.

Still. I felt you’d be returning
If 1 waited there for yoit.
Little comrade, here's a secret —
What makes life worth fighting
through.
As the battle waxes hotter
Where Fate's standard is unfurled.
Is the hope I’ll meet you coming
Round some corner of the world.
