Battery Weather
Summer’s gopd for batteries
just as it is for people—providing
they don’t get all “het up”.
But regardless of warm, easily
started motors, heat-thinned oil
and so on, you have to look after
your battery to keep it fit.
Just drive around and tell us
to do whatever’s necessary.
That’s what we’re here for.
Same service same Willard
Standards no matter what the
make of your battery.

IF BACKACHY and
KIDNEYS BOTHER
Eat less meat and take a glass of
Salts to flush out Kidneys—
Drink plenty water.
TJric acid in meat excites the kidneys,
they become overworked; get sluggish,
ache, and feel like lumps of lead. The
urine becomes cloudy; the bladder is irri
tated, and you may be obliged to seek re
lief two or three times during the night.
When the kidneys clog you must help
them flush off the body’s urinous waste
or you’ll be a real sick person shortly.
At first you feel a dull misery in the kid
ney region, you suffer frbm backache,
sick headache, dizziness, stomach gets
bout', tongue coated and you feel rheu
matic twinges when the weather is bad.
Eat less meat, drink lots of water;
also get from any phaimacist four ounces
of Jad Salts; take a tablespoonful
in a glass of water before breakfast
for a few days and your kidneys will
then act fine. This famous salts is made
from the acid of grapes and lemon juice,
aombined with lithia, and has been used
for generations to clogged kidneys
and stimulate them to normal activity,
also to neutralize the acids in urine, so
it no longer is a source of irritation,
fhus ending bladder weakness.
Jad Salts is inexpensive, cannot in
jure; makes a delightful effervescent
litliia-water drink which everyone should
take now and then to keeg the kidneys
clean and active. Druggists here say
they sell lots of Jad Salts to folks who
believe in overcoming kidney trouble
while it is only trouble.

NOT A CASE ON DOCKET

MANY STREET TAX
SUMMONS YET OUT.
Scores of street tax summons issued
by the police department have been
unanswered, neithe- .in the sum re

the delinquents are rounded up it will
likely mean a great addition to the
amount of the tax or a term on the

SAME GANG OF LITTLIB
NEGROES IN TROUBLE.
Wednesday an attempt was made to
enter the store of Wright & Gowan,
corner Bay and streets, but
VV. H. Parker, who is with the Flem
ing Commission Company, with offi
ces directly across the street, chanced
to see three or four small negro boys
and while he made an attempt to
catch them they were most Too swift
and made their escape. The matter
was reported to Chief Register and
he detailed Officer Tankersley on the
cas e with the result that all the boys
except one has been caught. Harry
Moore, not, over twelve years old,
seems to be the leader, aecordihg to
the police. He was up before Judge
Butts sometime ago who put him on
pijojbation. Fast of the matter ihj I
there is no place to send juvenile pris
oners and corporal punishment in
these cases would likely have the de
sired effect.
