OPENS TONIGHT
After Thorough Overhauling
Theater Ready Again. Lasses
White, All Star Minstrels is
Bill for The Opening.

'l'Tie new remodeled Grand Theater
opens this evening with the famous
Lasses White Minstrels. Several
thousand dollars have been spent in
reflooriug the entire auditorium and
balcony and the new picture broth
has been installed which is absolutely
lire proof. Two new machine;! cf the
latest type will project a picture that
can be seen from any part of the thea
tre in comfort. An entire new ceiiihg
takes the place of the old plaster, one
onedecorated mvi stlie tnine for al
decorated in mellow cream, with walls
to match in the balcony, while on the
ma,in floor the ceiling is finished in
a rose pink with cream walls and rose
mahogony wainscoating finish. The
balcony has been seated with regular
theatre chairs, while special large
opera chairs, with the white covered
backs have been installed on the main
floor. There arc thirty six box seats,
the boxes being prettily draped in
Olive green velvet.
Special wall brackets, and ceiling
lights decorate the theatre, and which
makes and helps to show the thatre
up to its glory. A massive red plush
jjiont curtain will adorn the stage
opening, which matches (he trim of
the theater proper. Ladies' rest room
has been provided for on the main
floor, prettily done in wall paper finish
and has been furnished'with dressing
table, lounge, chairs, etc., to make it
i comfortable to all lady patrons. The

white holding on one side of the bal-’

with special box offices for each. The I
main lobby has been entirely changed j
being finished in ivory and mahogony,
dressed with palms etc., which is ap
pealing to the eye. The management

| pet that was to be placed on the main -
floor and the balcony lias been delay- j
ed owing to the New York manufac-l
tures not being ame to deliver it in'
time for the opening, but is promised
so that it call he placed in its respec
tive place by the end of the week. A
specially built pipe organ that has
I been designed for th e Grand will be in
| stalled today, tried out, and will furn
jish the music for the picture policy,
j the first picture being George Arliss

Mr. Spencer states (hat the seats
for “Lasses \tyhite Minstrels” are sell
ing out fast, and these desiring seats
for this attraction should secure them
at the Theatre - Box Office at once, he I
also states that all seats in future

box office exclusively where he best,
