If Kidneys and
Bladder Bother
Take Salts to lush Kidneys and
neutralize irritating
acids.
Kidney and bladder irritations often
result from uric acid, says a noted
authority. Tile kidneys filter this acid
from tho blood and pass it on to the
bladder, where it may remain to irritate
and inllame, causing a burning, scald
ing sensation, or setting up an irrita
tion at the neck of till? bladder, obliging
you to seek relief two or three times
during the night. The sufferer is in
constant dread, the water passes some
times with a scalding sensation and is
very profuse; again, there is difficulty
in voiding it.
Bladder weakness most folks call it,
because they can’t control urination.
AATiile it is extremely annoying and
sometimes very painful, this is often
one of the most simple ailments to
overcome. Get about four ounces of
Jad (Salts from your pharmacist and
take a tablespoonful in a, glass of water
before breakfast: continue this for two
or three da,vs. This will help neutralize
the acids in tile urine so it no longer
is a source of irritation to the bladder
and urinary organs, which then act
normal again.
Jad Saits is inexpensive, harmless,
and is made from the acid of grapes
and lemon juice, combined with litliia,
and is used by thousands of folks who
are subject to urinary disorders caused
by uric acid irritation. Jad .Salts is
splendid for kidneys and causes no bad
effects whatever.
Here you have a pleeant, effervescent
lithia water drink, which often quickly
relieves bladder irritation.
BREAK CHEST GOLDS
WITH BED PEPPER
Ease your tight, aching chest. Stop
the pain. Break up the congestion.
Feel a bad cold loosen up in just a
short time.
“Red Pepper Rub” is the cold rem
edy that brings quickest relief. It can
not hurt you and it certainly seems to
end the tightness and 'drive the con
gestion and soreness right out.
Nothing has such concentrated, pene
trating heat as red peppers, and when
heat penetrates right down into colds,
congestion, aching muscles and sore,
stiff joints relief comes at once.
The moment you apply Red Pepper
Rub you feci the tingling heat. In three
minutes the congested spot is warmed
through and through. When you are
suffering from a cold, rheumatism,
backache, stiff neck or sore muscles,
just get a jar of Row-es Ra; Pepper
Rub, made from red peppers, at any
drug store. You will have the quick
est relief known. Always say “Rowles.”

THEATRICAL
“MANSLAUGHTER”
WINS TIRUMPH
Cecil B. DeMille’s Paramount pro
duction of “Manslaughter” achieved
a triumph on its presentation at
the Bijou theater last night. Thomas
Me',oil an, Beatrice Joy and Lois Wil
son headed one of the largest and
finest casts ever assembled for any
picture. The story is dramatic and
there are many scenes of tremendous
interest. The story deals with a
girl who is a speed maniac and who
pay s the penalty. The downfall of
Rome is a finely pictured interlude
which adds value to the picture.
Portrays Four Characters
in One Brilliant Picture
When a motion-picture star
. cars in a dual-role, th e event is
hailed as a sensation in.filmdcm. The
sensation of -multiple roles is doubled
in Clara Kimball Young- latest pho
todrama “Charge It.” In this real
istic picture from the gifted pen of
Siula'-CJpwaii, remembered for l*er suc
cessful authorship of “Hush,” and
“Straight From Paris,” Miss Young
: assumes four different roles. The
1 remarkable point, however, is not in
i the number of roles this versatile ac
i tress portrays, but in the effective
ness with which she enacts each part,
i As the brilliant,-glorious social leucl
j cr, surrounded by all the extravagance
; of -wealth, Miss Young’s carriage is
| conv ncing. As the flippant lover of
j another man, her gaiety and seckless
