Big Eaters Get
Kidney Trouble
Take Saits at first sign of
Bladder Irritation or
Backache.
The American men and women must
guard constantly s.gainst kidney trouble,
because we eat. often too much red meat
ami all our food is rich. Our blood is
filled with uric acid which the kidneys
strive to filter out; they weaken from
overwork, become sluggish, the elimina
tive tissues clog and the result is kidney
trouble, bladder weakness and a general
decline in health.
When your kidneys feel like lumps of
lead; your back hurts or the urine is
cloudy, full of sediment, or you arc
obliged to seek relief two or three- times
during the night; if you suffer with sick
headache, or dizzy, nervous spells, acid
stomach, or if you have rheumatism
when the weather is nad, get from your
pharmacist about four ounces of Jad
Salts; take a tablespoonful in a glass
of water before breakfast for a few
days and vour kidneys may then act
fine. This famous salts is made from the
acid of grapes and lemon juice, com
bined with lithia, and lias been used for
generations to flytsb and stimulate
clogged; kictneys: .to'neutralite the-acids
ill tn sti it no longer is ft source
of irritation, thus often ending bladder
disorders.
! .Tad Salts is inexpensive; oan not in
jure, makes a delightful effervescent,
lithia water beverage and belongs in
every home, because nobody can make
s .nishake by having a good kidney
flushing any time.

LOCAL EXECUTIVE
COMMITTEE ACTS IN
SENATORIAL RACE
Dernpcratic Voters of Glynn
County Are Urged to Support
Nominee in Election Next
Tuesday.
Communication Approved By a
Majority of Giynn County
Executive Committee Issued
to Democrats of the County.
To the Democratic Voters of Glynn
County:
The Fourth Senatorial District is
■omposed of the counties of Glynn,
Camden and Charlton, these coup
les rotating in the selection of the
;enator and under this plan it is Cam
lon’s time to select the senaor. The
pta n is to nominate these candidates
n the Democratic primary. In tlz
Democratic primary electio n held in
Camden county on September 13th,
Mr. J. T. Vocelle was nominated by a
majority of something like forty
/otes over this opponent, Mr. A. .1
jiles, as certified by the Democrat!?
executive Committee of that cour
y. Later Mr. Vocelle was nominat
d by the Democratic Senatorial con
/enticn, which 'assembled in Camden
•ounty, and participated in by dele
gates i n person or by proxy from each
>f the counties. Messrs. L. R. Akin
md M. B. McKinnon were the dele
gates from this county and they
-ent their written proxies to this
Convention. If Mr. Liles, or any of
h e Democrats of Camden county wlv-i
ivere opposing Mr. Vocelle, desired to
-ontest the election it was their dutv
o have made this contest, first before
he Deraocraic Executive Committee
of Camden county, and if unsuccess
ful, the n before the senatorial con
vention. They did neither of these
hings. Later, some of thes e oppo
nents of Mr. Vocelle induced Mi.
Iharles S. Arnow to become a car
lidate as an independent against Mi
Vocelis.
Tli e Democratic Executive Commit
tee of lhi s county has no concern
vith the personal element entering
dto the fight o n Mr. Vocelle, but of
I’icially represents the Democratic
,'iaity in this county and has acer
tain duty to perform ’fo the Dcmocra
ic organization and to the County
of Glynn and the City of Brunswick.
There was published in the Bruns
wick New-s of October 26th thre e docu
ment s, one an official statement from
he registrars of Comden county cer
tifying that they had fully performed
thoir duty in Purging the registration
list, also an affidavifTrom Mr. Clyde
L. McCarty, a member of the board
of registrars showing that he had
urged Mr. Lilies to have all diSsatis- i
fied persons to appear before the j
ogistrars in connection with their!
■'urging of the registration? list, and j
jlso a n open letter from Dr. Burwell
\tkinson, one of the. best known j
citizens of Camde n county, stating ]
hat Mr. Vocelle was regularly elect-!
-d as the Democratic nominee for \
senator from this district and ap- 1
ica'ing to all Democratic voters to
uipport him as such nominee. Both
Or. Atkinson and Mr. Clyde 1,. Mc-
Carty are well k.mw n to many citi
ens of this county. So mu-h for the
cgularity of the nomi ruipr as show n
by the Democratic officials of Cam
den county.
It is a very serious matter for
persons Participating in a primary
election to repudiate the nominee of
hat primary and support an inde
pendent candidate. The white primary"
system iii Georgia, which is pi-ac
tically the same thing as the Demo
cratic primary system, has been the
political salvation of this state and
every intelligent Person knows this.
The Georgia Legislature is composed
dmost entirely of Democrats who arc
regularly elected in Democratic nom
inations. It would, i n our judgment,
be a most serious mistake for any
number of the Democratic voters of
this county to repudiate a Demo
cratic nomination for a State office
and support on independent Pamli- ;
date for such an office. The Dem- j
ocrat s of Brunswick and Glynn eoun- j
t.y and all the white people should
Pause a nd seriously think before they
take any such acjion. We appeal to j
you to reflect what our position j
would b c before the Democratic Gcor- j
gia Legislature for instance on any
matter vitally qoncerning the wel- 1
fare of our, city and county. Wc can I
but befieve that those of our good j
citizens who are opposing Mr. Vo- \
celle, the regular Democratic noni-1
inee, hav e not stopped to consider
haw disastrous the results might be
to our interest if their efforts should
succeed. Our Democratic voters i
have just as much right f rom a par- J
Ty standpoint to vote for independent
candidates; if any there should be, |
against Clifford Walker for governor,
Walter Georg c for the U. S. senate
and J. J. Brown, for commissioner of
agriculture, as they have to oppose
Mr. Vocelle, for the slate Senate. If
Glyn n county had a similar situaiicn ]
to deal with we wouhbhave Inked l‘ ;0 j
regular course prescribed by the
party.and carried the contest to the!
Prol'orly constituted authorities, and
all those in Camden county who are
Democrats or who. participated in Ihe
; Democratic primary should have
pursued this course,' and not have
rallied (hig bitter contest throughout
the entire district to stir up strifp
among people. Just see what a bad ef
)’■ ct it has already had in Giyr.o
canty. A number of our People are
espousing Nip cause of Mr. Arnow,
the independent candidate. W e can
not question their sincerity, but the
situation is breeding strife, friction
and feeling among our own people—
w c who have st>'ive n so hard for har
mony, co-operation and good will
among ourselves, and if the Camden
county supporters of Mr. Arnow had
settled the matter by proper con
test in their ow n county, as they
should have done, We would not b"
suffering from the effects of the
bitter controversy.
We therefore, urge you, the Dem
ocratic voters of Glynn county, and
a* I othcr s who believe in and par
ticipate in the white Primary system,
to conform to Party regularity and
the rules of the white primary sys
tem, and vote for Mr. Vocell e be
cause he is the declared nominee of
I he Democratic party of The Fourth
Senatorial district.
This communication has bee n ap
proved by a majority of the mem
bers of the Democratic committee of
this county.
