MYSTERY WILL NEVER
BE CLEARED, BELIEF
CASE WILL NOT BE PRESENTED
TO GRAND JURY THIS WEEK, X
BISHOP DEFENDS WIDOW.
(By Associated Press.)
New 'Brunswick, N. J., Nov. 10. —
The Hall-Mills murder remained a
mystery today and there seemed to
be no immediate Prospfect of it being
cleared. No official announcement
has bee n made as to the result of the
conference in Somerville jytesterday
between Deputy Attorney General
Wilbur A. Mott, in charge of the case,
and the foreman of the Somerset
county (grand jury. Mr. Mott de
clined to make any statement after
th e conference, but hi s attitude in
dicated that he had been, unable to
convince Foreman Gibb and other lo
cal officials that, he Had enough evi
dence to warrant presenting the case
to the grand jury. Many people in
New Bnmswick believe the case will
never go beyond the investigation
stage.
The grand jury has been called to
meet here again to take up |
its regular term, but Mr. Mott said j
the Hall-Mills case would not be pre- j
sented this week.

LADIES! DARKEN
YOUR GRAY HAIR
Use Grandma’s Sage Tea and
Sulphur Recipe and Nobody
Will Know
The use of Sage and Sulphur for re
storing faded, gray hair to its natural
color dates back to grandmother’s time.
She used it to keep her hair beautifully
dark, glossy and attractive. Whenever
her hair took on that dull, faded or
streaked appearance, tins simple mix
ture was applied with wonderful ef
fect.
But brewing at home is mussy and
out-of-date. Nowadays, by asking at
any drug store for a bottle of “Wyeth’s
Sage and Sulphur Compound,” you will
get this famous old preparation, im
proved by the addition of other ingre
dients, which can be depended upon to
restore natural color and beauty to the
hair. _ /
Well-known druggists say it darkens
the hair so naturally and evenly that
nobody can tell it has been applied.
You simply dampen a sponge or soft
brush with it and draw this through
yijpr hair, taking one strand at a time.
By morning the gray hair disappears,
and after another application or two, it
becomes beautifully dark and glossy,
