The city executive committee met
at the city hall yesterday at 11 o’clocn
and issued a certificate to C. D. Ogg

as a majority of the registered white
voters participated in the primary and

and newspaper articles dealing with

ness in their state anti unanimously
declaring that federal interference
would be resented.
Governor Parker was l attacked for
his reason as craving publicity and
making a political move.
HOBOKEN IS TO HAVE A
TOBACCO WAREHOUSE
Hoboken, Ga., Nov. 22. —A meeting
was held last night jn which the ma
chinery was put in motion for the
tobacc warehouse to built here.
Col. W. A. Wood was elected chair
man and Waiter Thomas secretary.
A committee consisting of Col. Wood.
Mr. Davi s and Mr. Burton was ap
pointed to prepare a letter and send
out to all tobacco growers. Saturday,
December 2 was selected as the day’
to hold th e tobacco warehouse rally
at which time all stock will b e sub
scribed; officer s elected and charter
applied for. Ten Per cent of the stock
will be subscribed to be paid in on
that day, 50 per cent on January 1,
and 40 per cent February 1.
There will be speaking, racing and
other stunts on this day and a big
celebration.
