She will be in charge of an exhibit of her company, at the Glynn county fair, beginning today at 12:30. Doubtless this booth will he one of the most attractive features of the fair and the People of this city are Invited to ko up and sample the candies and crackers. aa o o LITTLE MARY OATES HAD BIRTHDAY TARTY. Tittle Wry Oates was the hon oree of a lovely birthday party giv en by her mother, Mrs. W. M. Oate ~ at her homo on Prince street yester day afternoon. The occasion was the little girl’s fifth birthday and there were about forty or forty-five guests W*aent who enjoyed the afternoon ; tayfcg various game*. Artistic in every detail were the decorations of pink and white cut flowers, chrysanthemums and ferns, which were used in the rooms where the children played. Pinning the donkey’s tail on was the chief amuse ment, for which Dolores Gillican was awarded the prize. Each little guest received a toy, as a favor. The snowy white cake, with its five candles held in tiuy pink r e-, buds-, was a lovely centerpiece for the able, where ice cream and cuke were served by Mrs. Oates and her assist ants, Marßaret Stiles and Annie Lyle Msnn. MRS. J. V. DAVENP/HR HOSTBS TO C ARD CLITL The Neighborhood Club was very charmingly entertainer! yesterday af ternoon by Mrs. J. p. Davenport, at her home on Egmont street. A profusion of pink roses and sa cred lilies were used as decorations adn the rooms looked ver attractive. At htis meeting, Meadanies J. B. Wright. N. E. Gillican, Henry Trn wick, of New York, and Miss Maude Anderson, also of Nenv York, were guests of the club. In bridge Miss Kezzie Conoley made top score and was awarded the Prize.
