HIGH WIND CAUSED LOW
SCORE OF TRAP SHOOTERS
Averages of the members of
Brunswick Gun Club dropped con¬
siderably yesterday, when they shot
at the clay birds under the disad¬
vantages of almost a gale Of wind.
The strong breeze made the targets
fly high and low:, in fact and sidewise
and it was difficult to run up good
score.
T. W. Mallard and .1. M. Armstrong
with a total of 43 out of 50, were
high for Ihe afternoon, and only one
or two others succeeded in breaking
as many as forty.
The local club is endeavoring to
arrange a team match for the local
grounds for June 7. when it is ex¬
ile-ted that Savannah and Fitzgerald
will send a five-man team here to
compete against tile locals.
