Metropolitan, the magnificent
salon of the Leviathan where,
during the voyage, notables
from every nation gathered.

AN OLD RECIPE
TO'DARKEN HAIR
Sage Tea and Sulphur Turns
Faded Hair Dark
and Glossy
Almost everyone knows that Sage
Tea and Sulphur, properly compound¬
ed, brings back the natural color and
lustre to the hair when faded, streaked
or gray. Years ago the only way to
get this mixture was to make it at
home, which is mussy and troublesome.
Nowadays we simply ask at any drug
store Compound.” for "Wyeth’s You will Sage and large Sulphur bot¬
get improved a by
tle of this old-time recipe
the addition of other ingredients, this at
very little cost. Everybody uses
preparation now, because no one can
possibly tell that you darkened your
hair, as it does it so naturally and even¬
ly. You dampen a sponge or soft brush
with it and draw this through your hair,
taking one small strand at a time; by
morning the gray hair disappears, and
after another application or two, your
hair becomes beautifully dark, thick and
glossy and you look years younger.

DANCElRJN “BRIGHT SHAWL’ •* i
' I
.Dorothy Gish is doing a Spanish \
dance at he Bijou theatre today and
tomorrow in the Richard Barthelmess
picture, “The Bright Shawl,” that if;
one of the most delightful features of :
fhis fascinating romance of the days I
of Spanish domination in Cuba.
It is a revelation of the versatility
of this very talented young actress,
who, in a perfumed atmosphere of.
old Havana, gives the dancing num¬
ber with a grace and charm that cap¬
tivates all who see it.
She is. seen in the tremendously ;
emotional role of La Clavel, who has
all Havana worshipping at her fee.t,,.
And she figures in a most poignant
and tragic romance with a young
American (Richard Barthelmess),'!
who is adventuring in Cuba on the I
.side of the patriots conspiring' j
against the Spanish crown.
La Clavel is undoubtedly the most j
•avid of the many vivid delineations
vliss Gish has given the screen.
“The Bright Shawl” is a John S.
dobertson production, adapted by Ed- !'
murid Goulding from Joseph Herge- j
iheimer’s famous novel and presented j
